International Affairs and Business · George Washington University
I study how government, industry and geopolitics shape one another.
I founded the Indo-Pacific Record, an independent research project on regional defense and security, and maintain the Strategic Materials Policy Tracker. My interest is how organizations navigate policy shifts, industrial competition and security risk.

About
Hi, I’m Ben.
I’m from New York and now live in Washington, D.C., where I study International Affairs and Business at George Washington University. Most of what I work on comes back to one question: what happens when governments, companies and geopolitics pull on each other at the same time?
That question is why I started the Indo-Pacific Record and why I keep building out the Strategic Materials Policy Tracker. I like going to the original documents and working out what they actually say.
Away from the desk, I’m a competitive powerlifter, and I play more Clash Royale than I’d like to admit.
I’m always up for a coffee chat ☕ If you’re working on something in this space, or just want to swap notes, say hello.
